Who is your photographer? Jean Phillipe Jouve
When and where did your artist live (or are they living)? He is from Paris.
What is your photographer’s main subject matter? (people, places, objects, ideas….) Street Photography/Candids
What kind of work do they do (documentary, film, portraiture, fine art….) and/or who does he/she work for? (a magazine, a store, an advertising agency….) People and the enviorment that they are living in.
Why did you choose this artist? (What do you like about his/her work?) I love how his work is all in black and white and excentuates their facial expressions/ brings more emotion to the photos.
Personally I like to overedit my photos when they are black and white but in this picture I think he did a great job with the exposure. I also like how half of the photo is completley blurry making it obvious what the main focal point is in the photograph.
