What do your photos share about the history of Somerset/Berkley?
My photos are showing different people in Somerset along with older buildings and older places showing the history of the town.
Who or what are some of the people, industries, places or events that have transformed Somerset or Berkley through the years?
I photographed a Quaker meeting house which was very interesting because they weren't wildly liked throughout towns in Massachusetts anyways. Other than that I photographed people of Somerset now.
How are they "visible" or documented in your photos?
Because I took the photo of their meeting house which meant a lot to them.
Discuss 2 or more of your photos, explaining how you composed the photographs to communicate a specific aspect of the history of the town. (What is your photo of? Where were you? How did you compose your shot?
The photo I would like to discuss is the photo of Joey. It was a photo that was taken in the moment while he was giggling when i took photos of him. I love how it caught his smile perfectly along with the beautiful foggy eerie background. His skin color is definitely accentuated because of the amazing lighting.
The other photo I would like to talk about is photo number 9. I love the lighting on the rocks how the rocks are darker and the rest of the background is foggy. The photo was taken at mallards point.
